Executive Philanthropy

It’s the UK philanthropy event of the year – Tuesday 10th October 2006

What is it all about?
The purpose of the event is to educate key people on how to give wisely at both a corporate and personal level. The morning will focus on corporate philanthropy, with unique insights and corporate case studies, and the afternoon on personal philanthropy, with personal stories and advice from some of the biggest philanthropists known.

The event was conceived by John Jeffcock, Sir Richard Butler and Charles Handy. All profits from this event, hopefully over £50,000, will be going to the "Pestalozzi Foundation" (http://www.pestalozziworld.com/). So through coming, you become a philanthropist!

What will the conference cover?
This interactive one day London conference will examine cutting edge practice for mutually beneficial relationships that corporates and charities can form. The conference looks at philanthropy from many perspectives, focusing particularly on innovative ways organisations have achieved corporate value through philanthropic activities, as well as the best practice gleaned from inspiring entrepreneurial pace setters.

Key speakers include:

Charles Handy
Lord Taylor
John Studzinski
Nigel Morris

A complimentary copy of Charles Handy’s book ‘The New Philanthropist’ will be given to all attendees.

Who is coming?
The audience will consist of 220+ board directors of large UK corporates and we are expecting at least a third of the FTSE 100 to be present. Other attendees will include entrepreneurs, owner-managers and senior partners.

Why you should attend?
Senior executives should attend for the following reasons:

· It will enable you to cut through the philanthropic noise and understand what you need to know and the questions you should be asking

· You will learn from the best and leave at the forefront of philanthropic thinking

· You will learn how to manage your “business giving” and “personal giving” in a more effective way

· You will be in a position to educate others at both business and personal levels

· It is a business event with fellow senior executives who are interested in “giving” rather than “taking”

· It is an opportunity to meet other senior business executives with a common interest in wanting to help and give something back

Thank you for your kind support.
